Belgian Sky Shops: The world’s greatest chocolate retailer

Date: June 16, 2012

Belgian Sky Shops operates around thirty boutiques at Brussels Airport and, since 2002, Charleroi’s only tax-free shop. The range of products has considerably broadened since the first shop in 1958 and now boasts countless perfumes, cosmetics, fashion, accessories, sunglasses, spirits, champagne, wines, tobaccos, chocolates, jewels, watches, toys and fine food items.

At Belgian Sky Shops, the traveler will enjoy all-year-round attractive prices on quality items and renowned brands. Despite the 1999 abolition of tax-free, one can still enjoy tax-free prices on most items sold, with reductions of up to 21% VAT, even if you are travelling within the European Union.

An impressive fact: Sales of chocolate beat every record with 600 tons sold per year – the equivalent of one kilo per minute! – and Belgian Sky Shops is very proud to boast the title of the worlds greatest chocolate retailer. If they were to line up all the chocolate boxes they sell, they could link Brussels to Venice!
